Where does the Serial Connector come from?
Pam Martin is known as a “Serial Connector” who is passionate
about networking, connecting businesses and individuals.
All her friends will tell you that if you want to find someone call
Pam. If she doesn’t know herself then she can work out how to
contact them.
Pam is a member of a range of networking groups.
She has also been a Director/Consultant for BNI (Business
Network International), one of the world’s largest business referral
networks.
New Zealand is the biggest village in the world and we grow through the connections that we build in both our personal and professional lives. Our network and the database we create around it can make a massive difference to our success.
Being able to communicate well in a work or personal situation is often an area that causes great anxiety. As a long standing member of Toastmasters and a past President of the Auckland branch of National Speakers Association, Pam has seen the difference a little confidence can make.
An understanding of the power of networking combined with the skills to speak naturally individuals and groups provides a solid foundation for leadership and management roles.

A business owner for 20 years, Pam is a regular judge on the David Awards which recognise the successes of businesses with less than 10 employees.

It is the experience Pam gained around this book that has resulted in her realisation that people are still struggling to understand and benefit from technology. Part of the issue is that people don’t
know what they don’t know so they are missing out on many of
the most interesting and valuable tools. Yet today’s smart phones and tablets offer a much easier way to run your business processes if you understand how to use them.
